This workshop is a review of what is acceptable regarding our actions in any given situation, rather than an examination of manners. Manners are an important part of etiquette but they alone don’t define etiquette. The course content includes a look at communication tips especially when meeting people and how to approach a group of people already in conversation. We will discuss clothing and grooming, the importance of first impressions and telephone and texting do’s and don’ts. A review of basic table manners is included as well as understanding the utensils on a table set for a formal dining experience. Please note: This is not a CEU course.
